This google was designed specifically for alpine touring. The lens has a wide viewing angle while the Aerospace series boasts photochromic lenses. This means that no matter what the lighting condition, you'll have the right lens, eliminating the need for multiple goggles. Julbo goggles also have the "SuperFlow" system which means you can pop the lens for ward for max venting while skinning.
I've picked my two favorite lenses - the Snow Tiger which is great for days with high glare and cover full sun and flat light really well:
- Photochromic lens (cat 2 to 3 – VLT 30% to 15%) with high contrast orange tint and glare control filter for optimum visual comfort even under flat light.
The second lens is the Zebra Light which has a yellow tint great for cloudy days but will darken to deal with full sun as well:
- Photochromic lens (cat. 1 to 3 - VLT 75% to 18%) with yellow tint base for the best vision when conditions are at their worst and superb protection in the sun.
