The Excursion 88 is a hidden gem in Fischer's Nordic Backcountry Lineup. It's light(er), nimble, and very capable. The excursion has excellent edge feel but enough float to adventure off the beaten path. This ski is recommended for 50 / 50 groomer / offtrack. Easy skin compatible.

Pick your path. Whether heading into the woods, or towards more challenging terrain, the Excursion 88 Crown/Skin Xtralite is more than capable. This do-it-all ski has been lightened significantly and features Nordic Rocker, a deeper sidecut, and steel edges for improved turning and control. The Offtrack Crown pattern provides all-condition grip, while Easy Skin compatibility allows for additional grip to make fast work of a steeper ascents.
Easy Skin - The easiest way to attach climbing skins
A combination of adhesion and click-in-place for reliable grip and straightforward attachment and removal. The material mix of mohair and nylon glides perfectly, is very durable, and grips especially well.
