Light and Breathable Backcountry Helmet
CAMP stepped up to meet the demand of backcountry skiers (and ISMF) by upgrading their Speed helmet to meet both climbing (rockfall) and skiing (side impact) certifications. It maintains excellent venting as with the previous version and offers padding options to fit most head sizes (fits 54 - 60cm). The addition of goggle straps is much welcomed and will be the go-to helmet for SkiMo racing. However, with the added protection comes extra weight (263g vs 356g). It's still plenty light and breathable to wear on the uphill and you can't put a price on safety. Upgrade your brain bucket for the upcoming season.Â
